Part of the second-year curriculum for UTAS School of Medicine students is a Rural Communities Program which focuses on people, place and practice within the Snug, Channel and Bruny Island communities
A walk with Heart Foundation Walking Group, Kettering Walkers, is included in the program.
Walk Co-ordinator, Elspeth Haughie reports “We were delighted to have three students join us for our regular Friday Circuit of Kettering. We enjoyed exchanging healthy ideas and were happy to have kept up with our younger visitors!”
“Kettering Walkers celebrates its fourth anniversary this year and once again we are grateful to Heart Foundation Walking to keep,us fit and healthy”.
