The Kettering Community Association was born out of the former Kettering and Oyster Cove Residents Group (KOCRES). During 2010 the Group considered the benefits of becoming an incorporated association. At the March 2010 meeting a sub-committee was established to draft a constitution. The constitution was endorsed at the July 2010 meeting and agreement reached to incorporate following the 2010 Annual General Meeting. This action was duly completed following election of office bearers at the AGM in August 2010.
Membership is open to any person who is living or working in the Kettering township and environs.

Kettering Concerts is a not-for-profit association entirely run by volunteers that organizes six or seven chamber music concerts each year.
These are performed by world-class musicians in the Kettering Community Hall.
Community-led project aiming to reduce the carbon footprint of the Channel region in Southern Tasmania, including the towns of Snug, Kettering & Woodbridge.
